Vintage Tops is a curated drum pack featuring 416 hihats & shakers sampled from old drum machines and vinyls. A vast selection of retro drums including noise, trash, PCM and analog top drums.
Vintage Tops is a curated collection of 416 percussion devices with dedicated macro controls. The pack can be directly installed into the “Packs” section of Live and a preset preview playback is guaranteed. Vintage Tops includes : 32 Analog CHH – 32 LoFi CHH – 48 Machine CHH – 32 Noise CHH – 32 PCM HH – 48 Trash HH – 32 Analog OHH – 64 Machine OHH – 64 Noise OHH – 32 Noise Shaker. Additionally, Vintage Tops delivers 26 sound-specific drum racks each featuring 16 drum devices with dedicated macro controls.
The Kontakt version of Vintage Tops includes DROOM, a drum instrument with an ultra-friendly interface and a solid set of synth/effects parameters. All the drum samples included in Vintage Tops can be easily selected using the Drum Menu and then tweaked using the an AHD Volume Envelope, two independent HP / LP filters, a Pitch Envelope and Warmth, Punch, Transient, EQ and Drive effects. The selected drum can be spread across the keyboard or it can be played regardless the incoming MIDI notes. MORE INFO HERE
The Live version of Vintage Tops has been designed to perfectly fit into your Ableton Live. All the included devices can be directly installed in your "Packs" section and previewed when selected in the Live browser. They have also been organized in Live standardized categories so that you can find them also in the browser's "Categories" section. Moreover, all the sounds included in Vintage Tops have similar perceived volumes and feature 8 macro controls with volume compensation to avoid unwanted distortions.
