Released by Roland in 1984, the Juno-106 is still one of the most popular and widely used analogue synths. Due to its excellent bass sounds, creamy leads, lush pads and its characteristic pseudo-stereo chorus, the Juno 106 has been used by a plethora of artists during the last 3 decades. The Juno 106 has been used by Autechre, Vince Clarke, Moby, 808 State, Underworld, Leftfield, Fluke, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Laurent Garnier.
The Juno-106 is a six-voice polyphonic analog synth with one digitally controlled oscillator per voice. This awesome synth features an excellent four-pole resonant low-pass filter, capable of marvelous filter sweeps, joined with a non resonant HP filter, useful to shape the sounds. The Sub Oscillator and the integrated bucket-brigade stereo chorus add genuine analog warmth and impressive fatness to the sound. The Juno 106 is a legendary synth, the perfect choice for techno, dub, house and 80’s synthpop productions.
